- Short trips where your phone already works: a hotspot is cheaper.
- Heavy tree cover and no pole: expect drops.
- The monthly cost doesn’t fit: cancel between trips or go cellular only.

Questions people ask
Does Starlink work for RVs?
Yes, on a Roam plan: it works anywhere in the US and Canada with open sky, including while driving with a fixed mount. As of Oct 5, 2026, Roam starts at $55 a month plus a kit. Under heavy trees it struggles.
Can I use my home Starlink in my RV?
Not on a Residential plan: it only works at its registered address. You need a Roam plan for the road, on a second kit or by switching your one line to Roam.
Is this site run by Starlink?
No. Starlink and Roam are trademarks of Space Exploration Technologies Corp. Starlink RV USA is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by SpaceX or Starlink.
